About Us

It started, as many things do, from a complaint. One of us whined to the other about the lack of a really good website for fantasy hockey info. And we started talking about how magazines are really limited and out-of-date by the time of the draft. After enough complaints we decided to do something about it and all of a sudden, Puckjunkie was born...ok, not quiet that fast, but you get the picture. Though it was this close to being HockeyWizards.com...we can thank our wives for steering us clear of that!

Ten years later, a lot has changed, but a lot remains the same. Magazines are still out-of date come draft day, but now there are lots of websites providing fantasy hockey info and predictions. But very few provide the kind of updated predictions that Puckjunkie does, and we would argue that there are none that provide the quality of predictions we do. And of course, there is no other site with the Predictor! We think that along the way to solving our problem, we ended up creating the best fantasy hockey tool out there.

We never really planned to get into this business. But we had a passion for hockey pools, and we saw a need that we filled. Along the way we've had a lot of fun...heck, it's a bunch of poolies running the show so you know there is trash talking! And we hope we have provided a product that helps our customers. We haven't gotten rich, but that was never the idea anyway (ok, it would be nice!). At the end of the day, we're poolies too, and we use our own product. We think that speaks more highly for it than any marketing mumbo-jumbo. We think it is pretty damn good. We hope you agree.
