Analysis:
This is a classic deal of two underachievers. Both Royer and Baumgartner were high
draft picks who just never panned out. Neither of them are scoring threats but they both
play a very physical style that could help their respective teams. A change of scenery may
help, but both these NHL squads are fairly deep defensively. Look for both players to
split time between the NHL and the minors.
