Trading Deadline 2001
| Welcome to the Puckjunkie Trading Deadline page. Ever been to a garage sale and everyone was selling what you wanted but you just weren't sure if you really needed it? That's the NHL trading deadline. From the middle of February until the second
Tuesday in March the silly season begins. Well, we've got a week or so to go and things are starting to heat up. Stick with Puckjunkie over the next 8 days and we'll keep you up-to-date on the trades and their impact on your regular season and playoff pool
hopes.
We'll start you off with a two part
series on the trading deadline and fantasy hockey. In Part
One we discuss the Cup favourites, and what they might do in the
way of player moves. Part Two
focuses on the contenders. We'll also take you back in time to the
All-Star break (sooo long ago!) and our mid-season playoff
predictions for East and West,
so you can get an idea of the teams looking to make a move. And
finally, as we close in the trade deadline, we thought you would be
interested in our
opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of all the playoff
bound teams, and what needs they have to fill. As written by us for
Hockey-Wired.com....
