President's Message:

There are so many magazines and websites that claim to help people win fantasy hockey leagues and pools, but they always seem to be missing something....

Editorial Policy &
Commitment to Puckjunkies

Hockey players are people too.

We love the game and certainly respect the accomplishment of those that have laced up their skates for even one game in the National Hockey League or any other professional league around the world.

Editorial Policy

From a Fantasy Hockey or "poolie" perspective, however, not every player is going to be as highly valued as the next. Fantasy hockey cannot (yet!) encompass all the intangible factors that go into every facet of what makes a player an integral part of any real team.

That said, we want to stress that our critical analysis and appraisals will stay clear of personal attacks and superficial comments. Instead, we fundamentally assess and value players, transactions, draft picks, salaries, etc., based on how these may or may not benefit or be relevant to your virtual team. Often, these assessments can be interpreted differently depending on the categories and complexity of the rules your league follows. We try and provide enough information for you to make an informed decision.

Our Commitment to Puckjunkies

We will:

  • Provide balanced, unique, and timely content and analysis always from a Fantasy Hockey/Poolie perspective.
  • Stress quality, occasionally irreverent, writing and analysis.
  • Ensure all analysis is the combined efforts of at least two (usually more) Fantasy Hockey analysts, except in the case of by-lined articles or editorials.
  • Utilize various methodologies and re-assessments to sharpen analysis and add value for members.
  • Broaden the scope of and interest in Fantasy Hockey, including reaching out to women.
  • Stress professional and timely customer service in all dealings with members.
  • Provide members with access to interesting, relevant, and high quality products and services.
  • Continually strive to make Puckjunkie.com the best and most relevant Fantasy Hockey website on the Net by listening to the needs of our members.

If at any time you feel we have not lived up to our "Editorial Policy" or "Commitment to Puckjunkies," please send an email directly to frontoffice@puckjunkie.com and let us know.
